Module 1 – ESG Funds
The module will explain how to integrate ESG factors and ESG risks in investment decisions, notably by explaining and illustrating the different strategies used by portfolio managers. Participants will also gain insights into how the integration of ESG factors and risks can impact a fund’s lifecycle - from manufacturing, impact measurement and reporting to distribution. Finally, participants will get a chance to debate the impacts of existing and upcoming ESG-related regulations on investment funds.
Module 2 – Sustainable Bonds Market
This module will take a deep dive into the definitions of Green, Social, Sustainability and Sustainability-Linked Bonds, and the main differentiators between each category of these sustainable bonds. Participants will receive insights on the latest state of the market and study concrete examples of these bonds and the projects that they finance.
Module 3 – Sustainable Bond Principles and Green Taxonomies
This module will outline the current principles and standards available in the market for sustainable bonds and the factors differentiating them. Participants will dive deeper into elements that make up green, social and sustainable investments according to different taxonomies available on the market. The course will introduce the different opportunities and constraints between the various approaches.

A potential participant should have a general knowledge of the concept of Sustainable Finance, its development, and its requirements. A basic knowledge on different financial instruments and various relevant international standards would be a plus.
We highly recommend that participants complete Course 1: Fundamentals of Sustainable Finance beforehand.
